This sturdy plastic sheath fits over your 6 inch knife blade, allowing you to safely store it away, while protecting the edge.  Your Knife Sheath should always be at least 1/2 inch longer than the knife you want to store. 


A 1 inch wide guard is adequate for most knives, except Cook's Knives over 8 inches, which require a 2 inch wide Guard.
